Ubuntu Extra Virgin Olive Oil (EVOO) is a brand that was established from a desire to connect people to the benefits of olive oil in a way that is fresh, positive and attractive, and that exudes the uniquely African philosophy of community and sharing.
The Ubuntu Extra Virgin Olive Oil brand was started by Loyiso Manga – a bright and innovative budding entrepreneur who saw a gap in the market related to the accessibility and appeal of Olive Oil to the broader South African market.
Despite searching for over two years for an Olive Farm to partner with, and despite being unemployed while still searching for funding to give life to his vision and dream of a healthier South Africa by bringing Olive Oil to the masses – Loyiso never gave up. It is indeed this passion, perserverance,
motivation and will to succeed that radiates through every part of this business and brand.
Ubuntu Extra Virgin Olive Oil is not just a flash in the pan – it is the story of a dream come to life through hard work and a focus on the benefits that it will bring to the people that it will come into contact with. This is the very essense and nature of Ubuntu.
